Embodying The Spirit of SOMA Hoops

SOMA Hoops is more than just a league. It is a living, breathing community built around growth, learning, and love for the game. We are committed to helping kids become better players—and more importantly, better people. When you step into a SOMA Hoops gym, you step into something bigger than a game. You step into a community that leads with heart, plays with joy, and lives the Spirit of the League.

Player Sportshmanship

2025-26 SOMA Hoops Player Sportsmanship Award Recipients

For the first time this year, one player from each team from 3rd grade and above was awarded the Player Sportsmanship Award. These players were recognized by their coaches for demonstrating sportsmanship, respect, effort, and community throughout the season. They lifted up their teammates; demonstrated coachability and grit; and represented the spirit of SOMA Hoops with pride. Congrats to the winners!

Coaches Who Care

2025-26 Coaches Who Care Recipients

  This year, we recognized coaches among us who go above and beyond to give their time, energy, and care to help our kids grow—as players, teammates and members of this community. The “Coaches Who Care” nominations came directly from families in the league and recognize coaches who lead with encouragement, sportsmanship, and a genuine commitment to every player.
